In october 2016, Sounds Kollektiv were putting a concert together at Koncertkirken in Copenhagen. They wanted to perform a concert without interruptions and they proposed that I would do a couple of improvised interludes to fill in the gaps while setups between pieces would get ready. My approach was that I would sit by my modular synthesizer during the previous piece and capture some short fragments of sound that I would develop on my interlude. Interlude #1 includes a sample from Esben Nordborg Møller’s “trio”, while interlude #4 features a sample from Mads Emil Dreyer’s Vidder 2.
