(11' of 33') Chamber opera.
Winner of the Berliner Opernpreis 2014.
Collaborative opera projects with composers Raquel García-Tomás & Octavi Rumbau.
Libretto by Spinoff Collective.
This piece is some sort of "spinoff" from DIDO reloaded (2013). Here, the spotlight is on Æneas, who is a civil-servant / aspiring politician that aims to bring different countries in the European Union closer together. The piece deals with the emptiness of contemporary political rethorics.
Go, ÆNEAS, Go! was premiered at the Russisches Haus in Berlin (May 2014), and soon after some more performances were held at Neuköllner Oper. In november 2014, it was performed for one week at Teatre Lliure (Barcelona), as part of a double-feature program with DIDO reloaded.
